There are some people and objects whose uniqueness allows them to transcend time... Guy Degrenne and the cutlery Normandy are two such things.
As the young heir to a grand tradition of cutlery, Guy Degrenne dreamed of making the art of fine tableware accessible to everyone through the use of an innovative material: stainless steel.
The Normandy cutlery from 1948 is the happy outcome of this revolutionary vision and the beginning of a true human, technical and aesthetic adventure.
Guy Degrenne designed this cutlery to be strong and understated with a touch of classicism. The name of the collection was obvious, since Normandy is the geographic home of the family and its history.
To celebrate its 70th anniversary, DEGRENNE wanted to pay tribute to the visionary spirit of its founder by revisiting this iconic product in the form of a limited edition presentation set. Sleeker, more elegant and more ergonomic, the Normandy cutlery reflects today’s taste whilst remaining faithful to the original design and its values of excellence, durability and innovation.
