TERMS OF SERVICE

Article 1 - Object

The access and use of the Degrenne website for professionals www.pro.degrenne.fr (hereinafter “the Site”) by a User (hereinafter referred to as a “User”) are subject to the Terms of Service (hereinafter the “ToS”). This Site has been developed by DISTRIBUTION GUY DEGRENNE (hereinafter “DGD”) which manages it and aims to provide the User with information and to facilitate the process of placing quote requests.

These ToS, the functionalities, the versions and the specifications of the Site may be modified at any time and without prior notice. It is up to the User to keep regularly informed of the ToS when visiting the Site, which are available on the Site. These modifications are enforceable from when they are posted online. By accessing the Site, the User agrees to comply with these ToS.

Article 2 - Request for quote

Access to the ordering service is ensured on a permanent basis subject to maintenance and servicing periods, server update operations and any possible exceptional interruptions. The products likely to be subject to requests for quotes on the site are those which appear on the Site at the time the User consults the Site. The products offered comply with current French legislation and standards applicable in France. Photographs which illustrate the presented products are not contractual. Consequently, DGD cannot be held liable in the event of error or omission in one of the product’s photographs. The User can get acquainted with the different products presented on the Site. The User can navigate freely through the different pages of the Site, without any obligation to make any purchase.

Article 3 - Intellectual Property Rights

All the texts, comments, works, illustrations and images reproduced on the Site are the exclusive property of DEGRENNE and are reserved under copyright as well as intellectual property, which prohibits any use without DEGRENNE’s agreement. The establishment of trade links in violation of DEGRENNE’s rights is strictly prohibited. Any total or partial reproduction of the Site is strictly prohibited. Any behaviour found to be contradictory will be subject to legal proceedings.

Article 4 - Data Protection and Freedom of Information

DEGRENNE places great importance on the protection of personal data.The personally identifiable information collected as part of the remote quote request is necessary to access the Site, for processing and preparing quotes. The collected information is processed and stored in compliance with the Data Protection and Freedom of Information Act No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 as amended and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which came into force on 25 May 2018. The User may choose to receive offers, in particular sales offers from DEGRENNE and/or its commercial partners. This site is controlled, managed and updated by DGD in France. DGD in no way guarantees that the details it contains are also valid outside of France.
